  3. LANGUAGE Dictionary Personal Experiences • 1. The method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way. • 2. A system of communication used by a particular country or community. • 3. The style of a piece of writing, or speech. • Oxford Dictionaries Online: http://oxforddictionaries.com/view/entry/m_en_gb0456750#m_en_gb0456750 • It is a spoken or written form of communication where there is a structure. If someone was speaking to me in a different language, it would not be communication because I would not understand them, but language is still being transferred. • A way to transfer or formulate message, emotion or idea.

  9. OTHER ANIMALS • Unique language in which they communicate • Sheep-through various sounds • Dogs-sound, use body languages • Whales-high-pitched sounds • Dolphins-mainly the sounds →Whistles, so-called pulsed sound-squawks, breaching (jumping-hitting the flipper on water surface)
