  3. 509 – 264 B.C.E • Key event(s) • More than 200 years of constant warfare. • Positive there shall be peace between the Roman and all of the communities of Latin's as long as heaven and earth endure. Negative The Gaul burned the city down.

  4. 145 – 44 B.C.E • Key event(s) • A slave named Spartacus led a famous revolt in 73 B.C.E. • Positive • Granted citizenship to Spain and Gaul. • Negative • Caesar died.

  5. 44 B.C.E – 14 C.E • Key event(s) • Augustus turned Judea and Armenia into Roman Provinces. • Positive • The Roman improved trade routes by building harbors, canals, and roads. • Negative • A roman army was completely destroyed.
