  2. Close Range Weapons Maquahuitl Club/sword This was close combat weapon. Its made out of wood with stone studs. Tepoztopilli These were just like spears they were extremely sharp and sometimes over 7 feet long, These spears were known to pierce Spanish amour. The blade was a foot wide and made of many smaller stones.

  4. Long Range Weapons Tlahuitolli This weapon is like a bow and arrow. It was a common weapon. They were 5 feet long, the arrows had either flint, bone, or obsidian. This was a long range weapon. Atlatls The atlatl is a device that throws spears. This weapon is more powerful then the bow and arrow. This was made out of wood. It had an obsidian, flint, copper or bone tip. Slings It is made from the maguey plant. They could through stones farther with a sling then they could shoot arrows with a bow.

  6. Aztec Warriors Eagle Warriors Eagle warriors were scouts but were also very good fighters. They find information to strategies an lead and attack. They often wore helmets with eagles on them and had brightly colored shields Jaguar Warriors Jaguar warriors were very fierce warriors. They where all out fighting warriors. The Jaguar warriors wore jaguar skins on there heads when they fought.
