  5. AZTECS WEAPONS The Aztecs wars were highly organized with their weapons. The most popular weapon is the maquahuitl it was strong enough to cut off the head of the horse. They used sling shots to send to there enemy.

  7. AZTECS FOOD • Maize a type of corn was the Aztecs main food source. • The Aztecs also eat tomatoes ,avocadoes, atole a type of porridge. • Tortillas made from maize and tamales kind of envelope and Aztecs also eat chocolate.

  8. AZTECS CULTURES • The Aztecs came from the remote north, probably the early 13th century. • They were migratory at first wandering around the Mexican valley struggling to survive. • they were enslaved by another tribe.

  9. AZTEC GODS • The Aztecs brought their many gods and goddesses with them. • As a farming people the Aztecs know the forces of nature worship them as gods. • Most important there was a sun god named Huitzilopochtli.

  10. AZTEC • Aztec were native American tribes who came to Mexico during the 13th century. • They built a good city with pyramids and temples. • In when the Spanish came to Mexico and defeated the Aztecs.
