What? After defeat of Pontiac, British gov. said settlers had to stay east of Appalachian When? 1763 Where? East coast south to Georgia. Why?

Sugar Act, Stamp Act Who? Colonists and Britain. What? Taxes on British goods. Stamp required on paper documents. When? 1765 Where? Colonies Why? British needed money to pay for the war. Thought the war benefited the colonists so colonists should pay.
