  1. Warm-Up • Turn in any missing work!! • Vocabulary Practice worksheets • Pick 3-5 words to write into sentences

  2. Viewing an Interview Narrative Objective: To categorize questions as open-ended or follow-up and practice note-taking skills to develop into a written narrative presentation of an interviewee’s voice

  3. Tupac Interview • Write down three questions the interviewer asks Tupac • Mark as open-ended or follow-up • Write down direct quotations and paraphrases from Tupac’s answers

  4. Writing Prompt Write a mini interview narrative about who Tupac is and one of his experiences that has shaped him. Include: • A description of Tupac • Relevant background information • Direct and indirect quotations from Tupac • Summarize big ideas • Quote statements or phrases that reveal his voice • What you learned from Tupac’s experience • How can you apply his experience to choices you might make or your understanding about life and “coming of age”
