  2. Government The Romans were very advanced in their leadership. They built upon the Greek democratic principles. • Plebeians • Publicans • dictators

  3. Architecture Romans were well know thieves. Although most of their ideas were stolen from other societies Romans improved upon the stolen ideas and made them great. • Arches Bigger & Better • Dome Buildings wide open buildings • Aqueducts Their own idea of running water system, clean cities. • Bath houses houses with heating and running water.

  4. Art • Romans put reality into the arts. Sculptures look real people. • Artist became well known but did not signature their works.

  5. War Roman warfare changed the way people fought wars and the weapons used to fight them.

  6. Lifestyle A Roman’s lifestyle consisted of a strong belief in government, an importance for entertainment and a love for Rome.
