  1. Warm Up • Write each of the 5 themes of geography as a question. Example: Location – Where can something be found?

Anticipation Guide • True or False: • At one time all of the continents were connected. • There were other species of man called Neanderthal before modern day humans. • The oldest modern human fossil found was in South America. • People moved out from Asia to populate Africa and Europe. • People traveled to the America’s from Russia.

  5. Inquiry Chart • Using the inquiry chart you will answer questions about human evolution using the evidence provided to you in the stations.

  6. Stations • You must stay at your station until told to switch. • When at the computer do not open up other pages/leave the timeline. • Do not wander around the classroom. • Do not talk to other groups. • You must be on task while at the station. You will not get a chance to go back to it.

  7. Using the inquiry chart, write a magazine article to a new Social Studies magazine answering the following question: How do geography, climate and other natural factors affect human life?
