  2. Very little is mentioned in the prologue about the priest. It can be inferred however, that he is a very moral man with a good sense of humor from his story. In the epilogue the host mentions that the priest is a burly man with large chest and neck The nun’s priest’s

  3. The story prologue also mentions he is riding a bad horse, but is called a “sweet priest” A priest in the 13 century was likely to be away with the nuns, and they wouldn’t really go out. They were supposed to live very humble lives. The nun’s priest

Monk’s tale was a downer, Knight congratulates him on the tale but wants something happier, monk refuses to tell another story so the host chooses the nun’s priest. The host enjoys the tale and suggests that the priest would be good for breeding but too bad he can’t basically. Order
