  3. Where is Baghdad and why was the Muslims empire able to gain so much wealth? It is located between the Tigris and theEupheteus Rivers. It was a crossroad to many trade rutes connected for different parts of the empire. Shops grew outside the city´s wall, soon it became the largest and wealther city.

  4. How has Islam’s influenced science, technology, and math? Science They were the others interested in zoology: the study of animals. They even made theories about the animal’s evolution. In astronomy they compass + astrolabes to indicate directions. They discover the earth spined like a top. They believe in the geocentric model.

  5. Math They adopted all the learning +adopted it into their own contributions. Knwarizin was “ The father of algebra,” in fact the word algebra came from his book. We also use Arabic # writing fractions + decimals. They spread Indian concept of zero.

  6. Technology In technology they made irrigation systems + underground wells. They built dams + aqueducts to provide water. They improve some systems and made wells + reaching 50ft + into the ground, and also they used canals for the same job as the well.

  7. What are some Muslims achievements in medicine? The Muslims established the first, they also made the pharmaceutics, they made hundreds of this for herbs, plants, animals, and minerals. The Muslims make many discoveries and helped spread medical knowledge.

They manufactured textiles and closs. In Cordoba they established the first musical school. In art they showed pictures of humans, animals and they showed them at religious art. They used geometric shapes in their designs.
