Introduction and Background • After this course you will be able to: • Describe the LEED EQc8.1 Daylight Credit • Understand how Glazing Factors (GF) are calculated • Predict how the sun’s position affects glazing • Explain how the building can be analyzed in Green Building Studio and the IES Sustainability Toolkit • About the Speaker Nick Bower, a graduate of Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, serves as a Technical Engineer for Advanced Solutions, Inc. with a focus on the Autodesk® Revit® Architecture and Navisworks® Manage software solutions. After graduating from Ohio State University, Mr. Bower worked in the residential design field. As a Technical Engineer for Advanced Solutions, Inc., Mr. Bower has many tasks and responsibilities, including the analysis of software solutions and the implementation of vertical base software solutions.
