In a Nutshell • New Media has its bedrock on the ability to share instantly at the tap of a finger/click on the mouse. • It is hinged on new methods of communication in the digital age, with evolution in the digital industry, emergence of variety of mobile devices, and technology in general. • It provides platform for online sharing and communication via web or digital platforms, using texts, images, videos, podcasts, vodcasts, slideshows/audioslideshows. • It gives opportunity for more people to have a voice of theirs, thereby making the world a global village.
