What do we want our students to retain for years into the future? • Environment • The different environments of different countries are in some way responsible for the way the residents of that country conduct their daily lives. • The physical environment that you live in can affect the way you live your life. • People from different countries spend holiday time in different ways. MYP unit question How does the climate of the country you live in affect your lifestyle?

  2. Weather • LO: • Describe the weather using ‘verb-adjectives’

  3. tiānqì 天气 the weather

  4. rè​ 热 hot

  5. lěng 冷 cold

  6. 热 冷 天气

  7. Verb-adjectives (很/不) ADJ + + NOUN DON’T… Use 是 to link like we say in English

  8. The weather is hot. 天气很热

  9. The weather is not cold. 天气不冷
