  3. Du Morgenstern, du Licht vom Licht, das durch die Finsternisse bricht, du gingst vor aller Zeiten Lauf in unerschaffner Klarheit auf. 

  4. Du Lebensquell, wir danken dir, auf dich, Lebend'ger, hoffen wir; denn du durchdrangst des Todes Nacht, hast Sieg und Leben uns gebracht. 

  5. Du ewge Wahrheit, Gottes Bild, der du den Vater uns enthüllt, du kamst herab ins Erdental mit deiner Gotterkenntnis Strahl. 

  6. Bleib bei uns, Herr, verlaß uns nicht, führ uns durch Finsternis zum Licht, bleib auch am Abend dieser Welt als Hilf und Hort uns zugesellt
