  2. The SERVE Community Competition“Win a trip to Tipperary” The SERVE community promotes a contest which gives the chance to win an ultimate Irish experience. The winner will live an unforgettable adventure thank to the “eco-fabulous” stay in Cloughjordan. The competition is organized to highlight the efforts of the SERVE Community project that is funded under the EU CONCERTO Program. The project aims to develop a sustainable region in North Tipperary through the implementation of actions in the field of sustainable energy. The winner will discover the real heart of Ireland, in a place where you can truly appreciate the nature’s beauties in the peaceful and friendly environment of Cloughjordan, a heritage town located in North Tipperary. This is an opportunity to enjoy the country's spectacular landscapes in one of the friendliest nations on earth.

  3. Terms and conditions How to play? The competition is based on 2 games. The participants have to answer to 15 questions about the SERVE Community project. In the first game they will have to select the word from the list which best fills in the blank left in that sentence. The second game is a multiple-choice test question (+2 for a good answer, -0.5 for a bad one, 0 for nothing). All the necessary information to answer the questions can be found on the SERVE Community website as well as on the associate partners websites.   4. Who can participate? The competition is opened to all the member’s staff of European regional energy agencies. Who cannot participate? Associate partners of the Serve Community project Member of the Commission How to participate? The application form shall be completed online, at the latest by the October 2011.   7. FILL THE BLANK The European Commission, after identifying key relevant areas to reduce CO2 emissions, is encouraging the development of energy efficient cities and communities. The measures should be implemented are: the enhancement of energy networks and the optimization of ______ as well as the ________ in buildings and a necessary improvement of the urban mobility, starting from the public transports. A way to reach this goal is the development of Eco-villages. Eco-villages are local _______ which aim to minimise their ecological impact but maximise human wellbeing and happiness. In other words the eco-villages are urban or rural communities of people who strive to integrate a supportive social environment with a low impact way of life.
