Christian Beliefs • Jesus was the Messiah promised in the Old Testament: sent by God to save humans from their sins • Jesus Christ is the Son of God • Belief in the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. • Love for God above all things: treat others with compassion, love, and forgiveness • Missionary religion • Belief that there is only one God, but that there are three elements to this one God (the Trinity) • God the Father • God the Son (Jesus) • The Holy Spirit
