As we begin the season of Lent, we reflect on Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness and the importance of fasting. This time invites us to consider what we can give up or take on to deepen our relationship with God. Engaging in self-discipline can lead to personal transformation and a closer connection to the divine. We explore traditions like Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday, enhancing our spiritual journey. Let us commit to this transformative practice with prayer and reflection, seeking growth and change.
