  2. What is An Adverb Clause • Adverb clause show a relationship between ideas in two clauses. They begin with subordinators, such as although and because. Although she enjoys wearing new clothes, she doesn’t enjoy shopping. • It is a dependent clause. It means it is not a complete sentence. Although she enjoys wearing new clothes,…

  3. Forming Adverb Clauses • Adverb clause has a normal sentence structure: Subject + Verb + Object She shops because it makes her feel good • If adverb clause is at the beginning, use a comma. • Although I sometimes buy things I don’t need, I am not a shopping addict.

  4. Using Adverb Clauses • Use because and since to give reason. Because shopping is necessary, shopping addicts aren’t easily recognized.

  5. Although/ Even though/Though  Contrasting Ideas/Something Unexpected Even though shopping addicts enjoy shopping, they feel depressed afterwards.

  6. While  Contrasting ideas Shopping addicts buy things they don’t need, whilenonaddicts tend to buy mostly things they need.
