  1. Christianity By: Lauren Johnson and Danyelle Blankinship 3rd Period

  2. Christians believe in one monotheistic god. They also believe that God is revealed through three dimensions: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the founder of the religion and is considered the son of God. He was born to Mary and came to Earth to offer redemption for sins. After he was killed and hung on the cross, he rose from the dead and ascended to heaven. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bringinudownfromabove/4322373013/sizes/o/in/photostream/

Christians in the Middle East today include Copts, Maronites, Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholics, Armenian Orthodox, Armenian Catholics, and Protestants. Although Christians are a minority in the Middle East, more than 75% of Americans of Arab descent are Christians. http://www.flickr.com/photos/freefoto/2552357124/
