  1. Homework Read the two documents, Travels of Ibn Battuta and Travels of Marco Poloon the website. Be prepared to use this information in class tomorrow. Also, tomorrow is a BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology) day. You will need to connect to the internet to conduct research in class. If you do not have a portable Wifi device, you will be able to work with someone who does.

  2. House of Wisdom Video You will be watching a ~12 minute video about Baghdad’s House of Wisdom. Please take notes while watching.

  3. Islamic Culture Having read several documents (including the textbook) and watching a video about Islamic culture, it’s time to determine which aspect of it is most important.
