Enhancing Medication Safety: The Generation Rx Fall Service Learning Project

The Fall 2014 Generation Rx Service Learning Project aims to combat the growing misuse and abuse of prescription drugs through statewide educational outreach. All P1-P3 SCCP students will engage in this initiative by delivering educational programs in assigned counties. P1s will shadow P2 mentors while all participants will document their outreach efforts and write reflections on their experiences. The goal is to deliver at least one educational program in each South Carolina county before the December 1st deadline. Active participation is crucial to avoid penalties related to upcoming rotations.
