  2. Summary Of Her Life! • Molly Pitcher was born in 1754 near Trenton, New Jersey. • During the American Revolution she accompanied her husband to the battle of Monmouth. • When her husband died she took the place of him at the cannon and served fearlessly

  3. The Role She Played ! • Molly’s role played in the Revolutionary War was carrying pitchers of water to the soldiers to cool of all the cannons being used.

  4. Molly a Loyalist or Patriot?? • Pitcher was a patriot. • I know this because she took the pitchers of water to the war the cool of the cannons being used during the Revolutionary War.

  5. Did she survive the war? What was her status afterwards? • Molly died in the year of 1832 in January 22 , in Carlisle, Pennsylvania • She was later honored by Pennsylvania Legislature in 1822 for service during the Revolutionary war.

  6. My Opinion of Molly !? • I like this Molly character. • I like this character because she took her husbands place after he died and help the soldiers out after the Revolutionary War.

  7. 2 FACTS ABOUT MOLLY ! • Without Molly the battle would have been lost. • General Washington made her an officer and afterwards was called “Sergeant Molly”

  8. Things I Found Interesting ! • The most interesting thing I found was Molly Pitcher risking her own life and taking her husbands place in the Revolutionary War.

  9. My Opinion On This Project ! • My opinion on this project is good. • Its good because one I got to research on a girl and two her actions helped prove that both women and men are equal.
