Olympian: Pertaining to Mount Olympus or dwelling thereon, as the gods of classical Greece; deity. Attribute: to regard as resulting from a cause; something used as a symbol of a particular person, office, or status. Sphere of influence: any area in which one nation wields dominant power over another or others. Provenance: Place or source of origin.

The Parents of the Olympians Kronos(Greek) Saturn(Roman) • Parents: Ouranous and Gaia. • Atttibutes: none specifically. • Birthplace: Knossos, which was in Krete. • Kronos had ruled the islands of the Blessed, after being released from Tataros by Zeus. He is also the God of Time, was the last Titan born, and him and Rhea were the rulers of the “Golden Age.” Rhea(Greek) Opis(Roman) • Parents: Ouranous and Gaia. • Attributes: In pictures you often see Rhea holding a rock wrapped in clothe and sitting in a chariot, sometimes with lions pulling her. • Birthplace: Believed to have come from Crete. • Rhea was a Goddess of Earth, but was also other things. [i.e. ease, comfort, sky] Rhea was also the mother of all the Olympians. She also had ruled the “Golden Age” with Kronos.
