Let’s look at pages 78-79 in our textbook *What was the Land Ordinance of 1785? *What was significant about the Northwest Ordinance of 1787?

Directions: Buddy read pages 80-81 in your textbook Work with your partner to answer the questions on your handout Use the answers you wrote with your partner to write a summary of the text independently Your summary should be in your best cursive handwriting, indented to show it is a paragraph, written in complete sentences, and all words should be spelled correctly When you are finished, read the story “Aurora Means Dawn” on pages 82-85 and draw a picture that summarizes the story.

Did you include when the Ohio Constitution was signed and who signed it? Did you include our first capital and our first governor?
