  2. ¿Qué unidad utilizan los científicos para medir las células? • Las unidades para medir las células son los micrómetros (también llamados micras).Esta unidad equivale a la milésima parte del milímetro.Se la representa con la letras µm (micrómetro) o µ(micra)Normalmente un glóbulo rojo humano tiene 7,5 µm. Una célula hepática 20 a 25 µm y el ovulo 120 µm. Una bacteria siempre es menor de 3 a 4 µm.
