Individual interest in a variety of outdoor leisure activities, fueled by an increasingly evolving lifestyle, as well as the growth of clubs and groups that promote camping, are driving global sales of camping equipment. People are gradually devoting time and resources to outdoor recreational and adventurous sports. The pattern of outdoor leisure experiences is expected to increase in the coming years, as an increasing number of people pursue enjoyable and relaxed trips during their free time and on weekends. The contribution of the travel and tourism industry to India's GDP is expected to increase from Rs 15.24 trillion (US$ 234.03 billion) last year to Rs 32.05 trillion in 2028, as per the IBEF. By 2028, the industry's total number of jobs is expected to reach 52.3 million. Fact.MR
