(Send to Deborah Farnum at or dfarnum@partners.org) Researcher contacts RSO to request access to irradiator. HR sends background check paperwork to Researcher Researcher contacts security to get fingerprinted (rdonaghue@partners.org) Security provides fingerprint form to HR HR submits fingerprints and paperwork to NRC Researcher completes and returns paperwork to HR HR submits paperwork for background check or reviews personnel file RSO contacts Researcher if clearance successful and arranges training HR notifies RSO if person is cleared (if not cleared, access denied) HR informed of Background check, and fingerprint results NRC submits fingerprints to FBI for check RSO notifies Security to provide researcher with irradiator access Researcher provided unescorted access privileges to irradiator Researcher receives irradiator training
