  14. FUTURE STRATEGY Key Strategies of KHPL Multi Super Specialty KHPL’s business philosophy is to build Multi Super specialty hospital with services ranging from cardiac to bariatric. Bouquet of services is to be offered at the various centers proposed to be set up by KHPL. Pricing KHPL is proposing to cater to both niche and mass segments of the healthcare industry. Reach KHPL is positioned as a Multi Specialty hospital. The hospitals have planned to foray into Tier II and Tier III cities/towns using district headquarters as a hub to cater to the entire population in the region.

  15. SWOT Analysis Strengths KHPL is already well established and has a reputation in the region of its operations. Promoters being medical practitioners themselves, with experience both in India and abroad and being from the same state have distinct local advantage. Promoters have a vision to provide quality healthcare services at affordable prices. Weaknesses KHPL is currently a single hospital enterprise and the current team needs to significantly beef up its operating team.KHPL will have to depend on external capital to fund its scaling up plan.

  16. SWOT Analysis Opportunities Health care scheme, “Aarogyasri” launched by GOAP based on public private partnerships with Corporate Hospitals and Insurance Companies provides major thrust to health care industry in AP. Aarogyasri scheme covers 88% of the population thus offering a ready and constant patient footfalls/traffic. And the scheme is poised to take off in a bigger way in coming period. KHPL, being located in Coastal Andhra, caters to population of neighboring states and Andaman and Nicobar Islands Threats The concept of Corporate Hospitals is slowly growing entrenched in southern parts of India, especially amongst the mid sized segment which may also act as a competition to the disadvantage of the upcoming players. Availability of skilled/specialized medical practitioners throughout the year at the smaller places like Rajahmundry, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram etc may pose a problem.
