Extended warranty for specified Continental Tyres on Fendt Vario Tractors Included in that warranty are new Fendt Vario 900 series (922-936) tractors equipped with the Continental tyres 650/85 R38 SVT, mounted ex works at Fendt Marktoberdorf plant on these tractors, shipped to Spain. Covered by the extended warranty is the abnormal tread abrasion during the normal agricultural use of the tractor. Not covered under the extension of the warranty is any non-agricultural usage of the tractor in e.g. forestry, construction (earthmoving) work, etc. Warranty claims will be accepted if the abrasion of the tread during max. 3.000 h or max. time-limited upon three years of delivery by the customer to the user, dependent on which incident occurs first, is higher as the normal wear which is to be expected during that period. Additionally our General Warranty Terms are also valid and the base for the regulation of any defects covered by the warranty. “In as far as we are obliged under defect liability, we shall remedy, upon our own discretion either by free elimination of defect, or by delivery of replacement. In case of delivery of replacement, we shall deliver as exchange for a tyre with a not inconsiderable defect (e.g. casing or tubing) a new tyre to the price as valid for the customer at the date of replacement delivery plus VAT. Off the price plus VAT, we shall grant a discount to be determined in our own discretion considering the degree of wear and tear of the complained tyre (by the remaining depth of profile). We may also decide to compensate this discount in cash or by crediting into current account. If in our discretion, defects can be properly eliminated by way of repair, we may decide to repair. If the customer has caused a damage exceeding the defect, he shall bear the incurring repair costs. “ Warranty procedure Please forward the below mentioned information to CGS Iberia.
