  • CQU 1967: First intake of students to the then 'Institute of Technology' at Rockhampton. (Current student population over 20,000)
  • UNE 1938 New England University College, a College of the University of Sydney; 1954 It became fully independent. (Current enrolments 16,000 external and 4,000+ internal students)
  • USQ: 1967 Queensland Institute of Technology (Darling Downs)
  • (Currently has 26,000 students)
  • CSU: 1895 Establishment of Bathurst Experiment Farm offering vocational agricultural education. (currently has 34,000 students)
  • Massey: 1879 Massey began as an agricultural college in Palmerston North. The college officially opened on 20 March 1928 as a fully constituent college of the University of New Zealand
  • (currently has 36,000 students)
