  28. Can We Benefit From Coaching? Examples… • You can’t decide which vendor to use. • You’re not trusting enough of people and their abilities. • An employee is performing poorly. You don’t know how to address him/her without them getting angry or upset. • Too often, you always want to do things your way. • Too detail-oriented, and it keeps you from getting enough done. Bogged down by details… Remember: You can coach through processes or procedures as well as a behavior or problem

Select a person to coach. • As a group, take 15 minutes to coach one or two people using Non-Directive Coaching. • Everyone ask questions by going around the table focusing on the person individually. • DO NOT attempt to solve the problem for him/her – this is NOT the goal.
