  3. About the S.O.E. • The Survey of Organizational Excellence is an internal employee attitudinal assessment used by state agencies since 1980. • Approximately 120 agencies and institutions of higher education (representing 170,000 state employees) participated in the survey in 2001.

  4. Texas Star Award • The Customer Service Standards Acts provides for the recognition of Agencies through the Texas Star Award. • The Award is presented at the Governor’s Conference on Organizational Excellence. • For more information see: www.survey.utexas.edu

  8. About This Room This room holds 200 people and is able to interactively host web broadcast. There are 5 cameras, several display screens, wireless internet accessibility, and a production media room in the back corner.

  9. Pickup Please pick up a folder packet containing resources and materials for this symposium in the lobby. Also as our gift to you, we have made available a copy of “Reinventing Texas Government” providing additional information regarding the Survey of Organizational Excellence.
