  5. School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences • Divided into three departments: • Information Systems and Multimedia • Computing • Maths • Each carries out research, consultancy and teaching • Administration and technical staff also VERY IMPORTANT

  10. Organisation of Programmes Programme = Degree / HND / MSc • Two terms of study per year • Third term is revision and exams • Four courses throughout the year More at personal tutor meeting

  11. Organisation of Courses Course, consists of • Lecture • Tutorial/lab sessions • Assessmentexams (May next year) coursework (throughout the year) Must pass every course (more than 40%) to proceed to the next year
