  4. We will Receive A Spiritual Body 1 Corinthians 15 Natural body Spiritual body Earthy body Heavenly body Corruptible body Incorruptible body Phil. 3:20-21 Change our vile body “lowly” Like unto his glorious body 1 Jn. 3:2-3 “we shall be like him” Same Individual

  5. We will Praise God Rev. 7:9-12 - songs of praise Col. 3:16 “psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts…” Rev. 14:3-4 ESV “and they were singing a new song before the throne”

  6. We will Serve God in Heaven Rev. 7:15 “serve him day and night in his temple” Serve God without failure Mt.26:74,75 - Peter denied 1 Thes.2:18 “Satan hindered us” Persecution, sickness Messenger of Satan - 2 Cor. 12:7 Serve without disappointments

  7. We will Reign with Christ Rev. 22:5 “they shall reign for ever and ever.” Rev. 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,…” Not boring Our decisions here will determine if we have the opportunity to reign with Him

  8. Heaven will be a Place of Rest Rev. 14:13 “that they may rest from their labors” Rest from: • Sin, temptations, trials, sufferings • Does not mean inactivity • Non stressful activity

  9. Heaven will be a Place of Rest 3. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev. 21:3-4
