Focuses on leadership in situations • Emphasizes adapting style - different situations demand different kinds of leadership • Used extensively in organizational leadership training and development “Leaders match their style to the competence and commitment of subordinates” Perspective Situational Approach Description (Hersey & Blanchard, 1969)
