What is global warming you say? • Global warming is an increase of temperature in the earth’s atmosphere, due to the greenhouse effect, caused by an increase in carbon dioxide and other pollutants. • Due to a global warming glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, and cloud forest are drying. • Its is clear that humans have caused most of the past century warming for our power for modern day lives.

  3. Greenhouse effect? • The Greenhouse effect is a rise in temperature that Earth experiences because certain gasses in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun. • Gasses responsible for this are Carbon dioxide , Methane, and Nitrogen oxide. • Some ways that we can contribute to reducing the Greenhouse Effect would be, growing our own food, buying energy efficient appliances, reducing electricity use and driving eco-friendly cars such as the Prius.

Global Warming facts • The earth is showing many signs of climate change and is becoming worse each year. • According to climate studies, the 20th century’s last two decades were the hottest in over 400 years. • According to the United Nations, 11 of the last 12 years have been recorded as the hottest years EVER. • If this climate continues we will have a completely ice free year by 2040

  8. Solutions? • Recycle- All materials in your ability in your area. • Reuse- By using recycled product. Make or buy a compost bin to use your waste as a fertilizer for your plants. • Reduce- Reducethe amount of energy you use and start using renewable energy source, such as solar power.
