The EERE monthly meeting, hosted by the C&O Digital Team on May 22, 2012, covered important updates. Drew Bittner opened with “Around the Room,” followed by staffing and transition updates by Sarah Lynch and Drew Bittner. Highlights included Assistant Secretary Danielson's Listening Tour discussions focusing on mission and vision development, and communication strategies. Moreover, John Chu was introduced as the primary social media contact. Key decisions regarding technical implementation for migration were made, and future project plans were discussed. The next meeting is scheduled for June 21.

Transition Team Update • The EERE web team met last week and reviewed status of several parts of transition • Energy Savers is making progress • Several sites and subsites were listed as eligible for migration as our next step • Work to be done prior to any technical implementation of migration/transition was identified and a project plan drafted • A preliminary draft of a “status memo” was written for Asst. Sec. Danielson
Asst. Sec. Communication Standards Tip Secondly, we have a minor update to the Testing Suite: www.eere.energy.gov/communicationstandards/testing.html There are no major changes, but we clarified how we’re handling Firefox and Chrome.
