  2. Pointer 1: Dress Correctly • At a job interview, the interviewer does not want to hire you if you wear dirty clothes or if you look bad or unhealthy. • If you want to be hired at an office of some sort, a suit would be nice. If you want to be hired by a place like McDonald’s then you should wear nice clothes but not dressy. Jeans would probably be okay!

  3. Pointer 2: Use Manners • At a job interview, no one wants to hire someone who is unhygienic. Say thank-you after the interview and walk out with your head held high. • Don’t belch or make any other bodily noises that are impolite or rude.

  4. Pointer 3: Use Correct Grammar • Speaking correctly at a job interview can help with someone wanting to hire you. At some jobs, if you use incorrect grammar, you will NOT be hired. Speaking incorrectly usually makes you lower on the list of who will be hired.

  5. Pointer 4: Avoid Stuttering and Act Confident Even if You Aren’t • If you stutter, you sound unconfident and it may seem like you don’t want the job too much. • Acting confident makes you sound like a good contendant for being hired. Say your answers as soon as you are asked and act as if you know the answer by immediately talking even if you have to say some fluff before giving the true answer, or the answer you want to give.

  6. Pointer 5: Be Truthful • If you lie in your interview, then you are hired, you might hit a few bumps in the road. If you say you are good with people, and you hate people, you’ll probably be fired pretty soon. • The truth hurts? It can, but it can also lead to many benefits in your job and even if you aren’t hired the first time, don’t give up! Giving up shows that you actually don’t want the job that much.

  7. Good Luck! • Try hard, and you’ll surely get the job! Well, maybe not but they may keep your number and hire you later when they need help!
