  1. Design Brief: Launch It

  2. Design Brief You are a magazine designer for a women’s fashion magazine. As part of your job role you have been asked to produce the upcoming magazine issues front cover, promoting a fashion labels latest season collection for 2017. As part of this magazine cover you are to redesign the company logo to attract new clientele to the business.

  3. Specifications • New Logo Design • Recreate original logo in a new, unique way that will attract new customers • Does not need to be the same colours, fronts or shape • Magazine Front Cover Design • The front cover must be A4 portrait size • Include the new company logo • Images of the latest season of clothing/model wearing clothing • Relate to target audience • Colour scheme and font must be legible and appropriate

  4. Inside Vogue Let’s take a look inside Vogue Australia https://youtu.be/QgaGy6YOXX8

  5. What can you really do with Illustrator? • Create freehand drawings • Import a photograph and use that photograph as a guide to trace and re-colour a particular subject (turning it into a work of art that looks as though you have drawn it free hand!).

  6. Who uses Adobe Illustrator? Adobe Illustrator is a program used by both artists and graphic designers to create vector images. These images will then be used for company logos, promotional uses or even personal work, both in print and digital form. Check out Longina Phillips http://longinaphillipsdesigns.com/about/
