  2. What was the role of Crazy Horse in the Battle of the Little Bighorn? • He convinced the Indians to stand their ground and fight. • He convinced tribes to fight together. • He used brilliant tactics, e.g. pinning down Benteen and Reno to concentrate on Custer SAMPLE

Activity • You must produce a presentation that assesses whether or not Crazy Horse deserves to be put in the American Hall of Fame waxworks museum as an American hero. • In your presentation you must include: • A brief summary of his life • The case in favour of him being seen as a hero • The case against him being seen as a hero • A summary of your opinion • Use pages 143-147 of your textbook for information. You may also wish to research further information using the internet. • You should works in groups of 3 or 4, everyone in your group must contribute • PowerPoint presentations are allowed, however you are banned from copy and pasting large chunks of text from the internet! • Every group will present their findings to the rest of the class next lesson SAMPLE
