  1. Fire Prevention Week! Friday, October 29th 2010 Created by : Alys Ann Webber

  2. Intro, Hi I am Alys Ann Webber. Classes P4 and P6 went on a field trip. The field trip was at Penno’s Wharf St. Georges. We learned interesting facts. In this slideshow you will learn lots of facts about fire safety. Enjoy.

  3. Smoke Alarms Never disconnect the battery of the smoke alarm. Smoke Detectors can sense smoke before the fire. Change batteries once every year. Test your alarm once a month.

  4. What Is the number What is the number to call when you need help? 911! Did you know that the Fire Department might come first if you call 911. NEVER call 911 as a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. BrontoSkylift The BrontoSkylift can go up to 105 miles high. The Bronto lift is very important. It can rescue people in tall buildings It sprays water at 1000 gallons per minute.

  6. How to be safe If there is smoke in the air when there is a fire, stay low to the floor. Feel the door for warmth. Take nothing with you. Leave as quickly as possible.

  7. The End. Created by Alys Ann Webber Pictures by Calais Darrell and Xavier O’Connor Special thanks to Mrs. Raymond and all the firefighters we met.
