Donovan's work uses everyday manufactured materials such as Scotch Tape, Styrofoam Cups, Toothpicks, Tar Paper and Drinking Straws to create large scale sculptures that often have a biomorphic quality. Donovan says of her work, "It is not like I'm trying to simulate nature. Go to stores and ask them to donate materials and tell them you will take pictures of how you use the supplies Home Depot, Staples, Target, Costco, Starbuck(cups, silver coffee bags, filters) McDonalds, In &Out….. Ect. Get CREATIVE about the search for material What to do to get the Supplies
