  4. Similes Write the definition: A simile is a comparison of two things using “like” or “as”.

  5. Similes Write the examples: 1. This biscuit is as hard as a brick! 2. Her hat is as flat as a pancake. 3. Jane’s room is as messy as a pig pen.

  6. Similes Write your own similes. Write two sentences including a simile in each using “like”. Underline the simile. Write two sentences including a simile in each using “as”. Underline the simile.
