Sobre o artista • Joan Miró i Ferrà foi um importante escultor e pintor surrealista. • Quando jovem frequentou a Escola de Belas Artes da capital catalã e a Academia de Gali. • No início dos anos 20, conheceu o fundador do movimento em que trabalharia toda a vida, André Breton, entre outros artistas surrealistas. • Miró é classificado entre os surrealistas mas a sua linguagem parece dotada de uma simplicidade mais infantil. • Participou da primeira exposição surrealista em 1925.
