  2. THE THEATER Pheonix College has one of the oldest and most respected theater programs in the state of Arizona. It was named after a former theater instructor and director. This theater is primarily used by the Theater Department, but it is also used for professional theater in downtown Phoenix. It serves as a community theater as well as a learning facility for the college.
