  2. Education/training • If you want to be an athletic trainer you need to have at least a bachelors degree. • You could go to any college that offered a degree in Health and it will cost you a minimum of $48,364. • You will need to have at least 4-8 years of college.

  3. Job skills, talents, and experiences necessary • For this job you ill half to get along with people and also know how to cure common injures along with serious injuries. • You could gain experience by working at a doctor’s office or a health center. • I’m suited for this job because I am good with people and I know how to cure the common injury.

  4. Earning- what will you make? • You will earn around $60,000 your first year. You will want to live some were near you job though, because if someone gets hurt you will half to be called into help with there injury. • The most that you could expect to make would be around $80,000. • Some of the things that could affect the pay of an athletic trainer would be: how consistent you are, how well you work with people, and who your employer is.

Benefits/Health Care/Vacation • One quarter of you salary goes to buy supplies mostly like bandages. • The most common health benefits are dental and health. • Some of the safety issues that are a concern with the athletic trainer are getting sick from a patient or radiation from the x-ray machines.

Employment Outlook • You get around 5 or 6 vacation days per year and when you retire you can get a great plan which includes dental plans along with all health doctor visits. • You have a very good chance of getting a job as a athletic trainer at a college or even a high school. • Some of the factors that influence the job outlook are how long you went to college and if there are any jobs around you area. • Through 2018 the athletic trainer job outlook is supposed to grow. • The growth potential is for this job is good and will grow. • Yes the job is considered “in-demand”

  7. Advancement Opportunities • Some of the advancements in this job are working for a professional sports team. • The experience needed for this advancement is the longer you goes to college the better job you can and will get.

  8. Typical Day • The typical day for this job is get up around 5 and go to bed around 10. You half to have a very flexible schedule making last second changes. • The usual hours are form about 7a.m to 5p.m • The best part of the day is when you help someone. • The most challenging part of the day would helping someone with a serious injury.

  9. Aptitude • Some of the personalities that have been preparing me for this job has been helping is that I know what happens when you have a bad injury. • Some of the real life experiences that have prepared me for this is when I broke my arm.
