  2. Each of us have our own, unique personality traits. • All of these people, in different environments and situations portray different parts of their personalities

  3. What you may not know • But might suspect • Is that all of these people • Are related!!!

  4. Biological/ Freud That Biological and Basic Tendencies are the bases for our personalities……. in other words, we are born with who we are

  5. Our Biological personality traits are • part of what is called • the Psychoanalytic Theory

  6. Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers • HUMANISTIC • EXTERNAL INFLUENCES • OBJECTIVE BIOGRAPHY • CHARACTERISTIC ADAPTATIONS • and finally……SELF-CONCEPT

  7. All beliefs that our emotional reactions, cultural norms, life events, environment….. • pretty much what we REACT to….. • defines and changes our personality traits

  8. So these three yahoo’s • who just happen to be brothers • (if you hadn’t figured out that one) • AND who happen to live in three very • areas and environments • May look like they have a lot in common here

  9. But when they think mom isn’t looking • Their true personalities come out • And as usual…it was no one’s • and everyone’s • fault……MOM!!!!!!
