  4. Common sense (Allah gifted general knowledge)

  5. Fact-1

  6. There are covert infidels (Munafiq) and Hell-dwellers in Muslim communities or families.

  7. So according to common sense there are concealed Mu’min (believer) and Paradise-dwellers in non-Muslim communities or families.

  8. Fact-2

  9. The characteristics of concealed infidels (Munafiq) and Hell-dwellers in a Muslim community or family are-

  10. They utter the declaration of faith openly but do not accept it in mind and soul. • Perform some Islamic deeds openly to show his obedience to Islam. • Disregard many Islamic duties covertly without any excuse.

  11. So according to common sense the characteristics of concealed Believers and Paradise-dwellers in a non-Muslim community or family will be-

  12. They do not utter the declaration of faith openly but accept it in mind and soul. • Due to reasonable excuses cannot perform some Islamic deeds openly. • Perform many Islamic duties secretly.

  13. The Islamic Principle of acquiring correct knowledge is-

  14. Any subject Primary decisionby using Common Sense (Allah-gifted general knowledge) {or Science (Allah gifted special knowledge)} Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with the Qur’an (Allah gifted root proved knowledge) If not possible, Final decision by assessing the Primary decision with the Sunnah(Allah gifted proved knowledge)

  15. If not possible, final decision by matching the Primary decision with Izma or Qias. The more factual one will be accepted

  16. So the primary decision of Islam regarding the subject under discussion is- there are concealed Mu’minun and Paradise-dwellers in a non-Muslim community or family.

  17. The Qur’an

  18. Fact-1

Meaning: It is He Who has made you (His) representative on earth and has raised some of you above others in ranks (by birth) . So that He can try you according to the privileges He has given you. (An’am/6 : 165)

  20. Fact-2

Meaning: If the AhleKitaab had accepted Iman, it would become beneficial for them. There are some believers among them though most of them are sinners. (Ale-Imran/3 : 110)

  22. Fact-3

(Ale-Imran/3 : 113-115)

  24. Meaning: Not all of them are alike. Among the AhleKitaab there are people who stand (for the right). They read the Ayat of Allah (the Qur’an) and prostrate at night. They believe in Allah and the Last Day.

  25. They do the right deeds, remain away from the wrong ones and they hasten in doing the good deeds. They are in the ranks of the righteous. Of the good that they do, nothing will be rejected. And Allah knows the Muttaqi persons.

  26. Fact-4

(Ale-Imran/3 : 199)

  28. Meaning: And among the AhleKitaab there are, certainly, some persons who believe in Allah, in the Revelation to you, in the Revelation to them, and they have got fear of Allah. The do not buy small thing by Allah’s Ayah (they do not disregard the teachings of the Qur’an for a small excuse). For them is a reward from their Lord and Allah is swift in account.

  29. Fact-5

(Fath/48 : 24, 25)

  32. Meaning: And it is He Who has restrained their hands from you and your hands from them in the midst of Makka. After He enabled you to defeat them. And Allah sees well all that you do.

  33. They are the ones who are infidel and they hindered you from reaching the Sacred Mosque and detained the sacrificial animals from reaching their place of sacrifice.

  34. Had there been no faithful men and women whom you did not know, and so you would have killed them and crime would have been accrued to you unknowingly (Allah would have allowed fighting). He admits to His Mercy whom He Wills.

  35. If they (unbelievers/ Mushriks) had been apart, We should certainly have punished the unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment.

  36. So, the Qur’an strongly supports the primary decision of Islam regarding the subject.

  37. So, according to the Islamic principle of acquiring correct knowledge this is the final decision of Islam, that-there are concealed Mu’minun and Paradise-dwellers in a non-Muslim community or family.

  38. Supportive Hadiths 41

  39. Ibn Abu Hatem from Sabit, DaruKutni in Afrad and Bazzar from Humaied, all from Abbas (R) narrated, “When the Prophet (S) offered the SalatulJanaza for Nazzashi, some of the Companions said, ‘Today the Prophet (S) has offered janaza for an infidel of Habsa’. Then this verse was revealed-

(Ale-Imran/3 : 199) 43

  41. Meaning: And among the Ahle Kitaab there are, certainly, some persons who believe in Allah, in the Revelation to you, in the Revelation to them, and they have got fear of Allah. The do not buy small thing by Allah’s Ayah (they do not disregard the teachings of the Qur’an for a small excuse). For them is a reward from their Lord and Allah is swift in account. (Daru Kutni,Bazzar)

  42. Explanation: The person for which Rasul (S) has offeredSalatulJanaza is definitely a believer and Paradise dweller. So Nazzashiwas a a believer and Paradise dweller. But the Companions did not know that. Because he never declared his faith and did not do such deeds openly by which people can understand that he has reverted to Muslim.
