  15. It the eleventh largest in the world. • Constructed by Hyundai Construction Co. South Korea. • It took 4 years to construct the bridge.

  16. It has 15.3 km approach road on the east and 14.4 km on the west. • It has 50 pillars and 49 spans. • It has 121 piles, each depth about 83 metres.

  17. Total taka cost more than 7 hundred million US dollars. • The taka came from Bangladesh Govt., WB, ADB and Japan. • It has railway, motorway, gas line, electricity line, telecommunication line.
