Keys to Success • ACGM Courses with SLO’s • Economics • English Composition • English Literature • Government • History • Mathematics • Transfer Compact Electrical Engineering Courses • (53 courses have had Student Learning Outcomes (SLO’s) added and a 30-day review period is from August 19th – September 19th. Any comments are due to Educational Affairs by September 14, 2011).

DCCCD Core Curriculum Changes District Academic Curriculum Committee (Fall and Spring) Recommendations due February 29, 2012 Core Curriculum Review Committee (CCRC)(March 1-31, 2012) Core Curriculum Steering Committee (CCST) (April 1-30, 2012) Vice Presidents’ Council (Receives recommendations at May 2012 VP meeting)

  10. DCCCD Curriculum • Tech Prep • DCCCD will continue to honor 2010 and 2011 agreements with Independent School Districts (ISD’s). • -- DCCCD will continue to work with ISD’s to transition students into Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. • -- Building new transition programs.

  11. DCCCD Curriculum • Dual Credit • Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) new rule- No reimbursement for Dual Credit Physical Education activity courses. Still awaiting word on non-activity courses. • DCCCD Board approved at August meeting to charge tuition for out-of-county, online Dual Credit students.
